西班牙第二大城巴塞隆納17日發生廂型車衝撞人群的恐怖攻擊，造成13死百餘人受傷。而其中一名死者，為僅7歲的男童卡德曼（Julian Cadman）。
一名駕駛17日在巴塞隆納最著名的蘭布拉大道（Las Ramblas）開著白色飛雅特廂型車高速衝撞人群，之後棄車逃逸。數個小時後，警方在沿海岸線與巴塞隆納相距約120公里的坎布里爾斯（Cambrils）擊斃5人，因為他們當時開車衝撞行人和警察。
綜合外媒報導，卡德曼具有英、澳雙重國籍，當時卡德曼和母親正一同遊覽巴賽隆納的風光，卻不幸遭遇恐攻，卡德曼的母親情況危急，被送往醫院救治；卡德曼則被警方列為失蹤，事後證實喪生。
而這起恐攻意外中罹難者除了卡德曼外，包含了3名義大利人、3名西班牙人、2名葡萄牙人、一名比利時人、一名加拿大人、一名美國人、一名阿根廷人；傷者中有2名為台灣人。
西班牙一名61歲女子阿貝爾（Pilar Abel）自稱是超現實藝術大師達利（Salvador Dali）的女兒，並向法院提起確認親子關係之訴，西班牙馬德里法院上月下令開棺採集DNA樣本相驗，並於當地時間20日晚間完成相關工作。
綜合外媒報導，負責執行掘開達利棺木的加泰隆尼亞高等法院發表聲明，表示在當地時間20日晚間10時許（台灣時間21日凌晨2時許）鑑定專家已開啟達利棺木，並從達利遺骨獲牙齒採集DNA，將送往馬德里進行檢驗。
達利在1989年以84歲的高齡逝世，死後葬於自己設計的達利戲劇博物館（Dali Theatre-Museum）。而他與妻子賈拉（Gala）結婚50年均無所出，也有人認為他們從未發生性關係。但達利傳記的作者吉布森（Ian Gibson）則表示，達利經常誇耀宣稱自己是性無能，達利的好友羅贊諾（Carlos Lozano）也曾告訴他，達利無法與任何人發生性關係，因他痛恨被碰觸身體。
提出確認親子關係訴訟的阿貝爾是加泰隆尼亞地區的一名塔羅牌專家，她表示自己的母親1955年在達利鄰居家幫傭時，與達利有段戀情，並在隔年生下了她，母親與祖母都曾向她說過，她的生父是達利。
DNA鑑定結果將在數周後出爐，若證實阿貝爾真的是達利的女兒，她將能冠上達利的姓，並可望繼承25%的遺產。
